Intro: 

As a class assignment I, also got with the rest of the class did a family crest which represents what our family represents. WE were to choose a shield, icons and text that fully represent what we believe out family is all about.

For my crest I chose the shield shape because of all off the hardships that my family and I have had to go through as wel as that it drives home the meaning that it is a family crest. I chose the colors green and gold because as many know I am a huge Packers fan, and that is their color scheme. I divided the crest up into three sections because there are three people in my primary family, my mom, dad and myself as well as that we have three dogs. For the Icons I chose a cross because we are a Christain family, and it has a deeper meaning because it is the same shape as the Kairos Cross becasue it really opened my eyes to God’s presence in my life. I chose a golf club for my second icon because everyone in my family is a golfer and we all enjoy going out there and jus having fun. It also has a deeper meaning. The five grooves, or horizontal lines on the clubs represent the five PGA Tour wins that my dad has aquired over his carrer. Finally, the dove represents peace and love in every aspect of our lives and it is last because before we make any rah deciosns we try to value the love and peace of ourselves and others.
